About Doug Kemper
Curiosity, Acceptance, Action.
My background is in sworn law enforcement and ARFF in the great state of Alaska, and in explosive detection K9 handling while working in Erbil, Iraq on a government contract. That experience taught me how to stay present with what is painful and uncertain, instead of turning away. Now, I work with people who are tired of just pushing through and want support moving toward what truly matters in their lives.

Purpose of My Practice
I see therapy as one important part of a person’s healing journey. There is no single fix or perfect formula. Therapy is a process of consistently showing up for yourself, understanding yourself more deeply, and gradually transforming into the person you choose to be.
